   MOM’S BEST BREAD PUDDING

 

 

1        loaf French bread or (sour dough)

4        cans canned milk

6        eggs

2        tbls. Vanilla

1/2     cup sugar or (sugar substitute to taste)

1/2     cup brown sugar or (brown sugar substitute to taste)

1        bag chocolate chips

 

Cut crust off bread and set crust aside, cube bread

In large bowl place milk, eggs, vanilla, and sugar. Beat well, put cubed bread into bowl and press until well saturated.

Then mix in chocolate chip. Pour mixture into

greased pan and bake at 400 degrees until set.

 

Note:  You can leave out chocolate chips and add 3 diced apples or 2 cans cherries or 1 cup raisins or 1 can pumpkin

If you use apples you can add apple pie spice (to taste)

If you use pumpkin you can add pumpkin pie spice

(to taste)
